As opposed to Pacha, Minimoo is certainly not as widely recognized.

But Minimoo is the hot thing. Because Minimoo is a private affair. Minimoo is what's up. Minimoos are the essence of NYC hidden club scene. If you do the Minimoos, you're the man (or woman). If you do them regularly, you might even become a Minimooer.

One day Minimoo will spread beyond the boundaries of NYC. For now though, do your homework, and show up on their first party since July 4th, which is happening on September 15th, somewhere in New York.

Perhaps one day people will learn - as far as clubs go, it's not about the name, it's about the people. If you think it's about the name, then you forget about the people, and in the end instead of people you get jerks. And you get them every Friday and Saturday.

Jerk in this context: someone who thinks they know about house music because they recognize the name "Pacha". It is in fact the only name they recognize.

Ask a jerk where Ibiza is on the map. They might locate it in Turkey or Iran. Or Easter Island.

New Bigger MINI - NOT HOT

It's not even about the fact that it's ugly and dull. Mini is a mini and should remain minimistic in its nature. Any combo-mini or SUV-mini or limo-mini variations are a kill to the originality of the pioneer version.

So what, you didn't have balls to get the original, but in this one you're finding enough space to take your granny to a crazy picnic party in Maryland? Nah.

If you want more space, get LR2 or something.

So, if you happen to live in the U.S., you probably don't know anything about Fiats, Citroens, Renaults etc. (even if you're an almighty New Yorker).

Nobody's perfect. It all doesn't really matter unless you know about the new hot European thing - Fiat 500.

The picture says it all, and if you want to take your essentialism to the new level, just mention to any European you will talk to in the near future something like: "I love the new Fiat" or "I love the new 500".

I will pay you if after hearing this they won't go out with you for a date.

Skinwalkers ad - NOT HOT

Seen yesterday on the subway - an ad for the upcoming horror film "Skinwalkers". I hope that the film will be more sophisticated than the copy line on the poster: "For them to live we must die" - gees, really? I thought for them to live we must wear straw hats, hold our hands and do the polka dance.
